So I was quickly checking out the projects on Shwin & Shwin’s Project Toddler Runway – I’m in the top 15 and hoping to make it to the top ten! Suddenly I realized that things in the next room were quiet. A little too quiet.
Arden had gotten hold of my in-process scarflette project, taken out the needle and was dragging the yarn about. After my initial panic I realized she had probably only pulled out a row or two – phew! I was able to pick up the stitches and wind up the strewn yarn. I really should know better than to try to work on the computer while she’s awake, but it’s just so tempting to check on the Project Toddler Runway voting progress – hint, hint!
My boys are always finding my knitting projects and pulling the yarn. I thought it was just something little kids like to do, but my 3-year-old informed me he does it when I ‘don’t look after him’…aka take my eyes off him for a second!
