Bay City Antiques Center

I have what I think will be an amazing project with a tutorial in the works.  For a key part of the project, I have an antique item in mind, so I went to what I think is one of the best antique centers around – the Bay City Antiques Center.  It just happens to be about a mile from my home.  Every time I go there I ask myself “Why don’t I come here more often?”.  It is SO amazing!  Room after room, booth after booth, nooks and crannies and creepy old basements and creeky floors.

Alas, I didn’t find what I was after, but a helpful dealer gave me directions to a place he thought would surely have it.  I did not leave empty-handed.

This wooden box is amazing!  Dave has a thing for dates and prunes, so I thought it fitting.  It has replaced my wire basket for To Do projects on my craft desk.

And aren’t these primitive clothespins to die for?!  I’m thinking either they could be little dollies, or just used as clothespins on a line.  Either way they’re gorgeous.

If you’re ever in the area, be sure to stop into the antiques center.
