We had taken the shots of me and my gigantic belly while Arden was napping. Since she’s been a little bit under the weather and pretty crabby, I wanted to at least be sure we got some pictures of Baby #2 before she arrived.
When Arden woke from her nap, she was in a pretty cooperative mood, so we snapped some quick pics with her and the bump. And “Kitty Hello”. Her outfit is new from Tea Collection. I bought one of the wardrobe collections, and I’ve been loving them – super cute! The shoes are from See Kai Run, my absolute favorite kid’s shoes – adorable styles and nice soft leather.
Arden is, at least at this point, remarkably receptive to the idea of a little sister. The only hitch has been a few soft toys and rattles that I put into the nursery that she has tried to reclaim as hers.
I think she’s going to do really well when we bring baby home. She sees plenty of babies at daycare and always seems drawn to them. She also has been holding her stuffed toys “like a baby” for the past several weeks in practice.
Somehow, even with getting ginormous with both pregnancies, I don’t have any stretch marks. Thanks to whoever passed those genes on to me! Sweet kisses for little sister.
