Candy Corn Pinafore Top

I made one of these candy corn pinafores for Arden last year, and bought a ton of extra fabric with the intention of whipping up a bunch for my Etsy Shop.  You can see them at the link or above on my Etsy mini widget.

That didn’t happen last year, but this autumn I’ve managed to get a couple of them listed – one in 12M and one in 2T.  The plan was for Arden to model the 2T, but she’s been feeling a little under the weather today and the brief spell that she seemed happy enough the sky looked like it was ready to open up and downpour.  I had taken these shots earlier in the day during her nap.

The fabrics for the pieced side are all Moda, and the reverse is a cute novelty candy corn print by Maywood Studio.  I hope to make a few more, but we’ll see how cooperative my body and self-motivation are in my 39th week of pregnancy…

I think they’re super cute, and listed at a slightly reduced price because I went without imbellishment on these to let the candy corn motif stand out.
