Sew This Look: Baby Girl Peasant Casual

Today I have another outfit submitted by a reader – this is a look from Meagan and it’s just perfect for heading into colder weather.

This is another look is from Nordstrom and some pieces are no longer available.  A similar peasant top is $38 and baby jeans are $115 (I know you can find much cheaper jeans, but these were the best match at Nordstrom).

Using patterns and tutorials, you can sew a similar peasant top and jeans.  I also included a cute skinny cords pattern and tutorial because I thought those were even cuter with the top!

Sew Much Ado has a free pattern and tutorial for size 0-3 Infant Peasant Dress that could easily be shortened into a tunic length.  If you need a different size, Leila & Ben have their Sweet Dress pattern for sale for sizes infant to size 10.

Again going with a free and fee option for the pants, Jessica with Running With Scissors has a free pattern and tutorial for her Toddler e-Cords for size 18 month.  Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop’s Skinny Jeans pattern goes from 12 months to size 10 and has a bonus pattern for an 18″ doll.

See you next week with another Sew This Look!  If you have fashions for your kids or yourselves you’d like me to try to dissect, send them my way:  jennuinedesign@gmail.com.
