Sew This Look: Jany Korean Girls

This outfit is one I had pinned onto my boards.  The target look is from a Korean fashion company, Jany and the link takes me to the main site so I can’t find any breakdown of the individual pieces.

I could try to convert the Korean currency Won to dollars, but for this one the reason to sew vs. buy is availability more than price.

This one was fun to break apart!  I was able to find patterns and tutorials that almost exactly matched the original items.

See Kate Sew’s Recess Raglan is perfect for the top.

Go To Pattern’s Holly Trousers/Shorts are nearly identical to the shorts.
If you want to tackle the accessories which are for me the main attraction of this outfit, The Purl Bee’s Fisherman Scarf tutorial looks like a quick knit if that’s your thing.
And looky what I found!  A free pattern and tutorial for an adorable felted cloche hat from My Magic Mom.  I had this pinned to make as part of one of my Project Run & Play looks but decided not to use it.

Thanks for joining me for another fun Sew This Look!  If you have fashions for your kids or yourselves you’d like me to try to dissect, send them my way:  jennuinedesign@gmail.com.

I love this look too. I was eyeing the holly shorts for a look I’m creating right now, but I decided to go a different direction. Now I kind of wish I’d used the holly 😉 And that scarf I have had pinned forever. Great job pulling together the look.

So adorable! I love the tights with shorts–I try to get Mie to wear them as often as I can!
