Matinée Pattern Release Tester Tour :: Day 5

It’s the last day of the testers’ pattern tour for the Matinée, and I’m really going to miss getting to see everyone’s amazing work each day!  Haven’t they all been spectacular?

Today we have a special treat for you – “we” being one of my fab-o testers Shelly, who has a stellar fabric store on Etsy.  Shelly is offering a $25 credit to So Tweet Fabrics, and I’m giving away one Matinée pattern and one Camper Hat pattern.

The Rafflecopter widget is at the bottom, so take a look at the last four testers’ dresses and tops and then go enter!

Raphaelle at Deux Souriceaux made another version after her test and this peplum top for her older daughter was the result!  I love the added piping at the waistline, and the wistful look on her daughter’s face is just so striking.

Tisha of Three Princesses in Training made this super cute peplum top with the optional cap sleeves.  She also made a matching skirt to make a coordinated outfit, so sweet!  I think this shows you could layer the peplum with the knee-length skirt and have another unique option for the dress.

And last but certainly not least, is Trinh from Sweet Cheeks Designs.  How beautiful is this shot of her adorable little girl among the tulips?  I think I’ve found a special attraction to florals combined with geometric patterns after seeing all the versions from the tour.

And now for the giveaway!  Open through Monday at midnight EST.

They’re all so cute! I sew because I like being able to make an outfit exactly how I picture it in my head. That at it gives me an excuse to hoard a ridiculous amount of gorgeous fabric!

The creative outlet, the practical aspect of clothing my kids, and because it gives me a sense of accomplishment.
