Woohoo! Â It’s here! Â I have my LOL Swing Top pattern ready to make a call for testers!
The LOL Swing Top is a loose-fitting trapeze-style top which floats away from the shoulders. The only critical measurement is the chest measurement, taken just underneath the armpits. It is tunic length,ending about at the hip where the leg bends.
If your child is between measurements, select the next size up.
I’m expecting the testing period to run July 5 through 12 – I’ve given a couple extra days because of the holiday. Â This is really a quick project to sew, especially if you’re comfortable sewing with bias tape.
Plus! Â Guess What?!! Â It works with knit as well as woven fabric! Â My test run in jersey knit from Girl Charlee turned out awesome! Â So I’ll be adding a section in the tutorial for sewing it with knits.

Oh I just saw your size chart fully! Doh! I would love to test this, no stranger to bias tape, as it’s so hot here I usually omit facings in favour of bias tape!
