LOL Swing Top Pattern Tester Tour :: Day 4

Today is a special day for the LOL Swing Top!  Late last night (or early this morning?) I finalized the pattern and listed it in my shop!  For release week you can get it for 20% off with the code “LOLRelease”.

From the listing, “The LOL Swing Top is a breezy summer top with an a-line front and a racerback yoke and nearly half circle back for lots of fun volume. Instructions for either woven or knit fabrics make this a very versatile pattern. A single button or snap closure at the left shoulder for wovens and no closures for knits make this an easy dressing option.”

Now that it’s a patter release tour and not just a teaser, let’s continue on with today’s most amazing LOL testers!

Sugar Tart Crafts

Toni of Sugar Tart Crafts made this fun woven version.  How fun is the print she used for the back?  I was thinking that this pattern is a little bit “party in the back”, so why not embrace it?  Head over to Sugar Tart Crafts to read about Toni’s LOL here.

Kim Wilmes

Kim is another returning tester for me.  She blogs at Kimmie Sew Crazy and shares tons of great tests!  She made a jersey version and paired it with self-drafted running capris for a super fun activewear outfit!  Read more here!

CUTE-AS-CAN-BE “LOL Swing Top” for little girls! Darling choices of fabric by both Toni & Kim. I LOVE the purple fabric teamed with the colorful paisley print fabric trimmed with hot pink around the neck & racer back. The “swing” effect with nearly a half-circle is UNIQUE! LOTS OF MOM’S LOVE sewn into these tops! All in all it’s a FAB DESIGN! Anxious to see many more versions sewn by your testers, Jenn. Sarah Helene in Minneapolis

Thanks so much Sarah! I have the most amazing testers and it’s been a lot of work to make the pattern as good as possible.
