Dancing Dollies

Arden’s started taking dance classes last year, and her second recital is rapidly approaching.   Her class is doing a routine to a song about dolls and teaching the dolls to dance.

So guess who volunteered herself to make 15 dollies so she and her classmates could have custom dolls with hair and eye color to match the dancer?  Yup.  That would be me.  I got the costume samples from the teacher last week and now I need to start production line sewing all these dolls.

I’m thinking the faces will be painted on this time, because I don’t know about hand embroidery for that many dolls…  Two sisters who teach at the school have their own offshoot costume company called Starmaker Designs so they’re going to make the matching tutu for all the dolls.  Phew!
