Day #5 – Getting Organized Challenge

Day 5 of A Bowl Full of Lemons’ 21 Day Organization Challenge is under the kitchen sink.

This will be a pretty quick one – not a whole lot happening under here except everything’s all in a jumble.

I pared down my collection of bubble envelopes and paper bags.  My Mom has a great “rule of 5” for items like this that tend to get out of hand, so I limited each of them to five and recycled or tossed the rest.  I picked up a little washbin to corral all of the cleaners – I figured it might as well be a dual-duty container.

In case you couldn’t tell the difference, here’s a collage to show.  Our cat Poe found this whole process terribly interesting and had to be cleared out multiple times along with all the stuff.  He’s recovering from a blocked urethra, so he gets a little more consideration right now.  As a side note, my husband Dave has decided that he “likes blogging now” since it’s prompting all this cleaning and purging.
