Matinee Pattern Tour :: Day 5

Oh, now we’re getting into the last few days of the Matinee pattern tour, it always makes me anxious when things start rolling towards the end; I want it to go on and on!  Here are today’s great versions of the pattern:

Glitter & Wit

Tasha from Glitter + Wit made an adorable remix for the Matinee, and folks – it’s kind of her specialty to remix a pattern, so I feel very honored and excited about this!  If you want your mind blown, check out her Glamparama wrap up post where she shows how she mixed and matched ten garments from the Willow & Co. Wanderlust collection to make FORTY different outfits!  So freakin’ cool!  Tasha also contributed a “Mystery Prize” for the grand giveaway as part of the tour – I can’t wait to see what it is!  Go read more about her Matinee remix here.

la Gang a Nat

Then there’s Natalie from La gang à Nat.  Natalie is another friend in a top-secret sewing blogger group and has three girls for which to sew!  Her middle daughter was the happy recipient of this amazing color-blocked version of the Matinee Dress – how fun is that?

Falafel and the Bee

And Michelle from Falafel and the Bee (isn’t that just the best name for a blog?).  Michelle is a Project Run & Play sew along friend (are you sensing a theme here?) and has also previously participated here at A Jennuine Life for my Lost Arts of Sewing series I ran last year.  She made a great animal print matinee for her younger daughter, lovingly termed “Falafel” – read more here.

Remember that for the duration of the tour, you can get the Matinee pattern for 20% with the code matineetour20 in my pattern shop.  Many of my tour participants have signed up to become affiliates of my pattern shop, so if you click through from their site you’ll send them a little thread or fabric mad money.

And then there are the nine great prizes which were donated for the tour!  Be sure to enter and check out all these fabulous sponsors and tour participants in the Rafflecopter giveaway below!

Matinee Giveaway Collage

I wanted to give a little detail about the fabric prize from Michael Miller.  They have generously offered six yards from their Emma’s Garden line, which is not available in stores until August, so you’d be getting it before all your friends!  It’s three yards of the main floral and a yard each of four coordinating prints:
