Floral Dressage Leggings

Sharing these floral Dressage Leggings feels a bit like an afterthought after all the great inspiration of the tester’s pattern tour.

These were a pair I cut during the last stages of testing, but have only just now found the time to sew them. They’re slightly different than the final pattern, as the rise and leg width was adjusted slightly after this.

I have a pair for Arden cut and sewn at this same point in testing that I will still share if I can get them photographed between trips through the machine.  The changes made weren’t needed for Arden’s string bean legs and tiny bum, so that pair fits her impeccably!

This is a size 5T.  Hadley is three, but is the size of a five year old.  She also has sturdy legs and a full booty, so the adjustments to the final pattern are needed in her case, though these fit well enough to wear.  The floral is cotton spandex from Girl Charlee but I’m not finding it in stock to link.  I used the same fabric on Arden’s Mini Hudson Pants.  The black is either from Riley Blake or Jo-Ann Fabrics, I’m not sure which.

We’re still learning the best places to shoot in our new home, and Hadley was all over the “let’s jump on Arden’s bed and take pictures” idea.  Arden’s room was also girl’s bedroom for the previous owners and this soft aqua blue is really similar to the color I had painted Hadley’s room in our old house.  This room has windows facing North and East which lets in plenty of light in the morning for photo shoots.

These leggings are gorgeous! Maybe my unwilling model will change her mind if I let her jump on a bed for a photo shoot? Thanks for the idea 🙂
