Floral Mini Hudson Pants

Since this is by far not the first time I’m sharing my love for True BiasMini Hudson Pants, this will be a relatively short post.  I’ve made three Mini’s previously, a duo for the pattern tour and a slightly modified version for Arden in my Top Stitchers entry.

You’ll recall from my Momiform MAKEover post that I took advantage of sewing efficiency to make a pair of Mini Hudson’s for Arden at the same time as my pair.

The same pattern (in a smaller size of course) with the same fabrics meant I could double each step as I sewed and not worry about changing settings or threads like I would if I did them one at a time.

The floral is French terry and the polka dots are jersey, both club fabrics from Raspberry Creek.  The floral in French terry seems to be out of stock, but there is a jersey version still available.  Since I have my own pair, I can verify that they are indeed as cozy as they appear.  I sewed the pockets in place the same way as I showed in my detailed post about my Hudson Pants.  I think I’ll do this for all future Hudson Pants and I have at least two more planned at the time of writing.

Hi, Jen! These pants are so cute on her. I do not sew clothes much, just bags, my by 9 year old is looking for outfits to sew together. Maybe we could tackle this one together. We’ll add it to our list! 🙂 i also wanted to invite you to a pinning party where you can link up 7 of your best pins to #Pinbellish. It’s a link party hosted by 5 blogs, including myself. I’m looking for more sewing pins to be added and I think my readers would LOVE this post! I do! It starts every Friday at 6AM at Gina’s Craft Corner. It’s not too late to link up to this weeks party! I hope to see you there!
