My Pattern Inspiration for Kids Clothes Week

kid's clothes week

I have the honor of contributing this season of Kids Clothes Week, and kicking off the collaborative posts with some pattern inspiration.  It seemed logical to me that since the theme of Mini Me has been suggested to gather up a bunch of Mom and Me looks to inspire.

On occasion I dress my girls in similar pieces or I’ll find I’ve coordinated them with my color scheme for the day.  I don’t expect we’ll head out with head to toe matching outfits, but I do think it will be fun to try to create some matching silhouettes for the girls, or use some fabrics I used for my clothing to make their garments.

Are you sewing along this season?  I’d love to hear about your plans!

That is a great idea about the cardigans. I am going to take part if KCW for the first time and am not 100% sure what I am going to do. What does it mean that you are contributing this season’s KCW?

It means I’m one of the bloggers writing posts for the Kids Clothes Week blog. This is just one of the pattern combos I pulled together; you can see the rest if you click over to the KCW site by clicking on the image at the top.

So cute! I made my niece a party outfit from the scraps of a ballgown I made myself – now I’m just looking for a fancy enough party for us to both wear them together!
