Video Tutorial :: Sewing a Clean Finish on a Lined Sleeve

This is a video tutorial for a pattern that will be releasing shortly.  I link to this post in the tutorial, so I needed to publish this ahead of time.

This definitely falls under the category of easiest to show vs. photos or drawings.  This is the illustration that goes with this step in the pattern:

Calla Lily Crop Top Tutorial Illustrations-39

This pattern is the Calla Lily Crop Top for girls’ sizes 2T to 12 years which will be releasing with One Thimble, a sewing e-magazine.  I’m excited to see the rest of the patterns included in issue 12.  After an exclusivity period with One Thimble, this pattern will be available in my shop – it pairs beautifully with the Satya Pants pattern we’re currently testing!

That’s my favorite technique for finishing a lined sleeve (or armhole)! I’ve got a Craft Gossip post scheduled for later today that features your tutorial: http://sewing.craftgossip.com/?p=88915 –Anne
