March Package Pals: What I Received

Here’s the other half of my March Package Pal exchange – the goodies I received from Amy at Life Is A Trip Worth Taking.  If you haven’t done a package exchange of some kind, I highly recommend it – I’ve gotten to know some lovely ladies through Package Pals and The Covert Robin with whom I frequently contact.
Amy is a DIY-er and decorator and the package she sent showcases those skills very nicely!

A couple of pretty bookmarks – Arden tried to claim these for herself, but I secreted them away before she could take them.

A dry erase frame.  I think I’ll keep this in my studio (you know, where the dining room used to be!) as a “to do” list.  The “Thanks” is my writing – a little message to Amy.

This adorable rope nest.  Amy had blogged about this project here and I was really impressed with her up-cycling and ingenuity; I never suspected it was coming my way!  It’s on our mantle at the moment to celebrate spring, but I think I’ll put it in Hadley’s room where it will complement her bird and tree themed nursery.  I get to call it a nursery as long as there’s still a crib in it, right?

And a hand-stamped notebook that Amy bound with bonding compound – I never knew you could DIY a notebook like this!  It’s great that it has my initial stamped onto it – that way Arden can’t try to steal it from me!

It’s all lovely and I’ve enjoyed getting to know Amy – go visit and check out her great posts!
