Vegas, Baby!!!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Southwest Airlines Vacations for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you been to Las Vegas?  I enjoyed a trip years ago when I was very active in Muay Thai kickboxing.  Our organization hosted an annual training camp and the year it was in Las Vegas was really something special!  We were pretty busy with daily workouts and skills sessions, but we definitely enjoyed the sights and activities.

We went to the top of the Stratosphere and rode the rides – that was SCARY!! but really fun!  I like thrill rides, but the Big Shot where you get shot into the air – I thought for sure something had gone horribly wrong and we were being tossed into space with no parachute (we weren’t).  It must not have been that bad because I did it again!!

We walked ALL. OVER. the strip – my friend Heather and I were power walking like crazy warriors.  The highlight for me was watching the dancing water at the Bellagio, followed closely by touring some of the casinos and shops.

A few of us were able to go to a show and were amazed by the acrobatics and artistry of Cirque du Soleil.  We were all in seriously good shape and we had nothing on those performers!!

My birthday coincided with the trip and I celebrated by dancing the night away with all my friends at one of the amazing dance clubs.  No need to worry about safe transportation since we were a short monorail ride away from our hotel.

I wish I had known about Southwest Airlines Vacations so I could have experienced Las Vegas for a great discount!
