Four

Oh, Arden.  Another year passed by in what seems a blink of an eye.  I suppose having an infant in the house on the year you turn four can do that.  You’ve grown and changed so much over this past year – just look at you and what you’ve done!

You went on your first Easter egg hunt,

Performed in your first dance recital,

Had countless hours of giggles and silliness with your sister, Hadley,

Provided unending entertainment with your costume combinations – princess/bee, princess/chicken, princess/cheerleader/chicken and the list goes on and on!

You thoroughly enjoyed yourself in the pool we set up on the deck over the summer – definitely doing this again!

Provided a glimpse into the wonderful Mommy you’ll likely be,

Became a preschooler (again!),

Amazed us with your dexterity and perseverance,

You love being Mommy’s helper in the kitchen and doing crafts and art projects,

Showed your sister the joys of a tea party on a blanket,

Decided that you and Hadley would be ladybugs for Halloween and even chose the colors!

This year you decided that you only wanted to wear dresses.  And tights.

Became a real princess!

Showed off your modeling chops for countless mommy made outfits,

And found the joys of sledding down a big hill on a perfect sunny day in Michigan.
