12 Days of Christmas Tree Skirt: Made by a Reader

I received a lovely e-mail from a reader Chihoci, saying that she had followed the instructions for my 12 Days of Christmas Tree Skirt and made her own version.

This was an early project, made during my first year of blogging in 2010.  I made this smaller tree skirt to go with the tabletop artificial tree we were using.  It was meant to be a temporary solution, but we’ve used that tree – and the tree skirt – every year since.  Little is good in our case!

Chihoci doesn’t have a blog, but she’s a member of Ravelry and posted this project as a thread in a community board for “sew obsessed“.  I didn’t know there were different boards outside of knitting on Ravelry – will have to check those out for sure!  I think she did a fabulous job and I love, love the fabric she used, Moda’s Winter Lane.
As always, I love seeing any projects you’ve made using one of my tutorials, or inspired by a project I’ve shared.
